Sew & Tell Friday: There's More Where That Came From...

Seriously.  If you live anywhere near Bountiful, Utah, please come see our booth at the Artisan Fair.  Then my death by sewing will not be in vain!  I made a few more car seat blankets, but I don't want to see those right now, so I'll skip to the quilts.  (I secretly want to keep all of these.  I even know what I'd use them for.)

First, a double wedding ring runner with Moda's "Blessings" fabric.  I used a charm pack to make all the arcs and I had my favorite long-arm quilter, Dixie Anderson, do the fancy quilting.  Wouldn't this look awesome on a Thanksgiving table?  Am I the only one who thinks about Thanksgiving right now?

Next, a pumpkin seed runner with Mark Lipinski's "Winter's Grace" fabrics.  This is supposedly Christmas fabric (on sale!).  The woman at the fabric store told me this is a traditional European (she said it was German, specifically) style.  I loved the greens and plums and I REALLY love the rabbits hidden in the green pattern.  (Don't worry, Mom, I have enough to make another one if this sells or if I decide to keep it.)  I don't think I've used my black teapot for a prop before.  :)

Last is a quilt I finished ten minutes ago.  It's Amy Butler's "Love" in 18" flowers!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this quilt.  I really want to keep it.  I have a spot to hang it and everything.  Hmmm.  Am I obsessed with plum lately or what?  Anyway, I used the same interfacing I use for the four petaled flowers, I just did eight of them.

Look at this delicious quilting detail:

Go check out more "love" on Amy's blog today.  I'm so excited to see her finished quilt!

These are all beautiful but I'm totally in love with that last quilt. It's the happiest quilt I've ever seen. I hope people come to your booth and buy your stuff so your death won't be in vain.
