September Birthday Party

I can't believe I haven't done this post yet.  Today is McKade's birthday, though, so it's not really late.  On Brian's side of the family we like to celebrate birthdays early and in style.  This was a few Sundays ago, but here are the September birthday boys, Nate and McKade, as well as some random family shots.
Nate never disappoints when reacting to anyone's birthday party.  He was kind of freaking out about his Caillou cake.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.  His favorite cartoon was a cake - that's as good a reason as any to freak out.
McKade at 16.  Obviously.
Meanwhile Janessa introduced Colin to the chimes.
And Emil got up close and personal with Pixie.
This isn't the first time Nate poked his cake.
It's hard to remember what we all did for entertainment before Nate joined the family. :)
I think all of Nate's new toys were noisy ones.  We're good aunts and uncles like that.

Thanks for the post Nicole and it was a happy day. Nate would be happy with just a cake and McKade can continue to dream about a car. I loved the picture of a cute Peggy wondering a little about petting that big dog. I remember those days when the women wore their house dresses and aprons and my Mom even cleaning house with high heels on. I'm grateful those days are gone.

I forgot to sign the above comment and don't know how to change it so another post.

Love, Grandma K.

Nate is my favorite person. Every time I've ever seen him he's been hilarious.
