Family History Photo of the Week: Ice Cream Party at Grandma & Grandpa's House

I have been looking for this photo for so long I was beginning to think I'd imagined it.  We're at Grandma and Grandpa Furniss's house and Uncle Wayne is making ice cream.  AND I'M POINTING A GUN AT SOMEONE WITH A MENACING LOOK ON MY FACE.  What?  WHAT?!  It's the funniest thing ever.  No one is even looking at me - inside or outside.  Disturbing.  So, from left to right we have Lance Furniss, Steve Furniss, Wayne Furniss, Jennie, Allyn, Katy (standing), Bryan Furniss.  Inside sitting on the back of the couch is Mark Furniss and that's me with the charming dress and the gun.

Besides me being inexplicable, look how pretty Jennie's hair is.  I wonder if the Primary sang the "Hello Song" to us that day.

Also, I wonder what happened next.

Oh, you KNOW they sang the Hello Song! You couldn't escape that! I bet what happened next was that we all got bored waiting for ice cream and ran around the back yard hoping you wouldn't shoot us.

YOU FOUND IT!!! i am so glad because it looks so much better blown up on my screen than in that little square. i can see the rambo machine gun that you are holding so much better. who in the world brought that to our grandparent's house.
jen's hair is luxurious, my outfit is cute. katy's pose is carefree. and that is one big bag of salt.

My guess is that we ate ice cream next? I feel like the grown ups were talking about hiking :) I'm so glad you found this- it is such a classic!
