Yesterday Bridget and I went to Temple Square and had lunch at the Lion House Pantry with Angie. We sat in the garden just like the old days. ("We" as in Angie and me. Bridget got in and out of her stroller a hundred times all by herself. Who needs Lagoon?) It was a refreshing afternoon. Now that I don't work at the COB, going to Salt Lake seems like a big deal. So, I put in the maximum amount of time on my metered parking spot and Bridget and I walked all over Temple Square after Angie had to go back to work. I even gave my last dollar (literally) to the woman who has been haunting the north entrance to Temple Square for at least four years. Even though I used to give her money about once a week, she still doesn't have enough for that bus ticket to Albuquerque. Maybe she's been there and back already. Anyway, the tulips aren't blooming yet, but we were treated to heavenly smells from the hyacinth (it was windy) and we saw lots of beautiful daffodils. Since it was a Monday, we didn't have to deal with those pesky brides on the green in front of the temple. Bridget ran to her hearts content and only held still long enough for me to take this picture.

What a sweet picture of Bridget at the Temple! Glad you had a good time with your friend and enjoyed the hyacinth.
I love that picture of Bridget! That is so crazy, 11 years ago when Zach and I got married in FEBRUARY the tulips were in full bloom!!
I love the new blog background! And I love all of your cute side stuff...and Reg wishes that I was more of a jazz fan like you. I did like the game last night though.
