This was really the first Conference weekend that Brian and I had to contend with Bridget's attention span in our efforts to watch all the sessions. Since I do love a story with pictures, here's how it all went down.
As the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was singing the opening song on Saturday, Brian made mini pancakes for Bridget and let her stand on a chair at the bar instead of in her high chair. (Notice there is at least one bite out of every pancake.)
Next, we took turns coloring in the Strawberry Shortcake coloring book with Bridget. Dumping all the crayons out bought us an extra talk. Nothing pleases Bridget more than an overturned box, bucket, or basket.
I'll give you one guess who came up with the idea to make a fort out of the couch cushions and some blankets.
After the Sunday morning session, we set up a game of croquet in the backyard. As you can see, Bridget is a croquet prodigy.
After the whole Conference was over, we rewarded Bridget's napping through both afternoon sessions with a trip to her favorite place; the park.
Whew!

Aren't you so glad that you don't have to take her to the Stake Center to watch conference? We don't either, but not too long ago they had to do that around here. I also love the pictures with the story:)
Glad you took pics of it all. I'm glad we weren't the only ones with everything out to entertain our kid. Today you witnessed the havoc wreaked by Clara during two days of conference. So much for a clean house, huh?
