Photo op on our front porch in front of one of the flowering trees. Yes, same blouse as the last post.
My sister-in-law, Dena, getting a wheelchair ride to the family party. It's funny because she's 40! Get it?! Over-the-hill! Yeah, it's not really that funny - especially because I know they'll do it to me and they'll do it to me before they do it to Brian.
Debbie's first Mother's Day! Next year Nathan will be able to hold her.
Just look at him scheming to get the food on his Daddy's plate.
Just because it's dutch oven and we're outside, there's no reason to put your filthy fingers in the cake. (But seriously, check out the gun show.)
I heart bleeding hearts!
It really was a lovely Mother's Day - and all thanks to my husband and his wonderful family... who never ever comment on my blog even though they are secretly reading it.

OK, I have to ask where you got your top, in the top picture. It's so cute!
And I rather liked Benjamin Button, but it was definitely long.
Ahh, Mother's Day! There were so many sick kids and runs to PCMC in Randy's family that day, I think we deserve a redo! I hope Bridget is doing better now. You do look lovely in that outfit and your KILLER red shoes - seriously, I'm not a shoe person, but I love those shoes on you!
Benjamin Button should have been called "Sex through the Ages". too long and too weird. Why does the love interest have to be a tramp? It's like a bad Forest Gump with an old man. So that this comment isn't all gripe I must say, "beautiful family picture" and sweet shot of Little Jack Horner with his finger in the cake.
I love that blouse. So classy and feminine. And Bridget looks so darling in her dress. Can I also say that I can never get enough of the flowering trees? More pictures of those always!
Dang! Where can I get tickets for that gun show?!?
You have such a cute family! Remember I kind of a stranger so I wouldn't just say that if it wasn't true. :)
Maw-Maw on the Guns! I'd still eat the cake :) Bleeding hearts remind me of Gma Furniss. Funny- my family is secretly reading my blog too!
aron wanted me to make sure that i let everyone know that he was the one who commented in my name earlier. i don't know why he can't just sign his name at the end, but...he couldn't help himself when he saw the reference to benjamin button. he didn't like it, as you could probably tell.
happy mother's day. i thought that maybe dena had had an operation or something when i saw the picture. that is pretty funny to have her old dad pushing her in a wheel chair like she is so old.
Very nice! And I love the bleeding hearts.
PS - I thought Benjamin Button was very good, but the ending was more sadness than I was expecting. I guess I don't know what I was expecting.
You did look smashing in your new Piano Recital top! Sorry you had a sick Mother's day. We had a scary day after...By the way, I am sure that Brian is a hand washer...isn't he?
Happy Mother's Day! I love the filthy fingers...too funny! And the wheel chair...my dad had a heart attack when we threw him a black balloon party...enough said :)
