I tried apricots for the first time in 28 years last night. And I liked them. (Someone attend to my Mom - I'm sure she's fainted.)

I absolutely love apricots! I'm glad you were brave enough to try this wonderful fruit again. I'm curious why you didn't like them so long ago...and what your mom has to do with it?

So funny, my mom and I just had (I am sure) an identical conversation about apricots! One where I blamed her for ruining the fruit for me. Gushy, skin sliding down your throat, blech...etc! She was wondering (last week) when I would finally grow up and try them again!
