Brian's parents arrived at the Ronald McDonald House with our sweet Bridget on Christmas Eve. She was asleep in the car and when she opened her eyes and saw me holding Colin she handed me all the little presents she'd made for me in the six days we'd been apart. She wanted to hold the boys, feed them, change diapers. And also she wanted Mama to play with her. Conflicting emotions. Having her and Brian's parents with us for Christmas Even and Christmas Day was truly a miracle.
Look how friendly Ronald McDonald is. My favorite thing ever is Harold's hand on Ron's shoulder. Like he's a brother. :)
Look how much bigger Emil is than Colin! He's wondering (in this photo and pretty much all the time), "You gonna eat that?"

Oh my gosh they are beautiful!! I love the big sister feeding her baby brother. :0)
My two boys- not twins- are completely opposite eaters. The four year old is VERY likely to eat whatever the 7 year old sneaks him from his plate. He even loves "boccori". (Broccoli.) Brothers are amazing. I am confident they will always have each other's backs. So happy for you to have these beautiful boys and hope that any medical issues are quickly resolved.
Oh I could just eat them up!! They are seriously darling little boys!!! I hope everything is okay with Colin!! We are so excited for you guys!
Oops! I mean I hope Emil is okay with his tummy thing. Already confusing them! :)
Love all your stories! Bridget will be your best friend/helper for like the next YEAR!! Can't wait to meet them and hold them!
So Emil is bigger than Colin? How did that work out? Isn't Bridget the cutest big sister ever!!
I just found out that you are blogging! I am so happy to see more pictures and hear the story. My goodness, you have a beautiful family!
Oh wow! You all look wonderful together, and I love the look on Bridget's face. She looks as happy as the rest of you. And no joke the baby just started kicking like crazy, guess he's bummed he has to wait awhile to hang out with his new cousins.
i was totally thinking colin was the bigger one, just because of all the internal trouble with emil i thought he would have lost a lot of weight, but holy cow man. he looks way bigger than colin.
bridget does indeed look super sweet feeding a baby. she looks so happy. i hope it lasts. teehee.
Tears of joy for all of you! I have felt a bit like waiting to shout for joy at these new life changes and now I really can! "JOY! JOY!" (Do you hear me shouting? I am beyond happy for you all and can't wait for more and more precious pictures and stories.
