My Christmas projects are done and I had a chance to work on quilts for the twins. Their room is going to be red and ivory (right now only the ivory part has been painted) and most of their bedding is light blue and dark blue. Kind of patriotic, but I love red for boys. I'm making a quilt for each of them - north stars on the top and minky on the back. This one is at the long-arm quilters right now and I need to bust a move on the second one before next Thursday. Why is time going so fast?!
I wanted this one to have red minky on the back, but the red minky I bought was this much too small. BAH! It's a square, because I like squares. :)
I love that you can see pinwheels if you want and you can see stars if you want.
I hope I'm up for a Sew & Tell Friday when we get to do the Christmas revelations. Mine are awesome. That's all I'm going to say...
(For anyone who is interested, we're offering free shipping in my etsy shop this week only. Also, I won't be making contributions to the shop for a long time, so if there is something you like, better get it while the getting is good. :))

Consider yourself my inspiration to join sew & tell. Now if I could just get those twins I've been wanting... :)
Your quilts are gorgeous! They'll be lucky boys to have such a talented mama.
Very nice! I hope you'll post picture of the room when it is finished. The quilt is beautiful!
Very pretty and very good attention to detail!
Wow! It's beautiful. Your points are all so sharp and perfect. If I made this it would look more like blobs that stars. Good job! Good luck finishing.
what perfect colors for little boys and what awesome quilts from an awesome mama!
