Sew & Tell Friday: Missing Mojo

I took the whole month of December off.  No piano students, no sewing.  I devoted myself full time to being a Fun Mom.  Now I'm exhausted and not in the mood to do stuff anymore.  I want to be in the mood to sew.  I bought some fabulous fabric, a tall stack of fat quarters of Moda Urban Chik's "Urban Cowgirl" and that has helped.  I've also made myself sew a little bit every day.  What do you know?  I finished a quilt top yesterday.  It's kind of pretty.  I'm teaching a class on the Quiltsmart's Pumpkin Seed block at The Quilting Cottage on February 23rd.  Tell your Utah County Friends!  I thought it would be fun to have something big to display even though we're just doing a table runner in the class.
I used 3 Sisters "Etchings" fabrics (mostly the grays and reds from two layer cakes).  I'm taking it in to be quilted right now. Hopefully seeing the finished product will make me want to finish some of the other stuff in the queue.

Check out Amy's blog today.  Maybe you'll find your missing mojo. :)

It is very pretty! I'm glad that you got some good "mama" time logged in. It's also great that you have your mojo back. We need both. :-)
