I've mentioned Bridget's best friend, Clara, many times in this blog. Bridget has only been without Clara for four months of her life - the first four months. They met the day Clara and her Mommy came home from the hospital in October 2006.
As you can see, they weren't impressed at that first meeting. Bridget was too busy thinking about how she was going to get Danny's glasses off his face. And into her mouth. I'm sure it's a regret that Bridget lives with every day - not being in the moment when she met her FBFF (future best friend forever).

Then there was that day in May 2007 when Kristi and I decided to dress the girls in crazy costumes and laugh and laugh. Of course this was really October 2007. Clara had a ball popper thing that really brought the two of them together. This is back in their sharing days. Notice Bridget is holding a pink ball and Clara is simply looking for her own ball. Ah, the good old days.

Here they are yesterday. Clara had fallen down during Ring Around the Rosies and her hand or her knee had grazed the wheel of the the baby stroller. (I was too busy taking pictures, obviously.) Bridget put her arms around her friend and the two of them had a little moment before play continued.
There may be less sharing (Clara is playing with Bridget's baby and stroller and Bridget is playing with Clara's baby and stroller) and more time outs, but there is also a lot more laughing and hugging and kissing.
