I'll be brief on these three topics because I've grown bored of this subject.
TV
Mad Men (AMC, Sundays at 8:00) - I'm blown away every week. A few days ago I checked out the Mad Men website and got sucked into the "behind the scenes" videos (about 3 minutes each) from each episode this season.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS, Mondays at 7:30) - Loving Marshall with no job. "You just need to get through this interview and then you can come home and put on the big underwear." And how good is Neil Patrick Harris as Barney? He's a totally disgusting human being and yet I like him. Acting!
House (Fox, Tuesday at 7:00) - I miss Wilson. I get why he left - he needed to leave, but I miss him. Has anyone else noticed how much they use the word "idiot" on that show?
Project Runway (Bravo, Wednesdays at 7:00) - Every time they get to the last challenge the contestants are too stressed to make anything beautiful. I'm so disappointed that Kenley has turned out to be a raving psycho. Why haven't the judges put her in her place? Her excuse for her unacceptable rudeness is that she has always had to "fight" for everything? Who hasn't? Booo, Kenley. I peaked at photos from the show at Bryant Park. (The last six contestants show collections so that no one knows who won.) Nicole is glad Suede was kicked off Project Runway. His stuff looks like costumes for a remake of Xanadu.
The Office (NBC, Thursday at 8:00 I think) - I really love the parts that are true. I was on that party planning committee. I had a boss who made crazy requests of me because he was bored. I worked with a passive-aggressive cat-lover who didn't wash her hands after using the restroom. (What? That wasn't on the show?) They lose me when Michael puts on a fat suit to lead a meeting.
Life (NBC, Friday at 8:00) - The first show of the season reminded me that I had forgotten a lot of the progress Charlie Crews had made into his own investigation. I also forgot his love for fruit. And I was right about Donal Logue - he's just as gross and sloppy on this show as he is on everything else I've seen him in. Bah. Damian Lewis is so good. He's making a case for red-headed men everywhere.
Internet
I've been getting a quick laugh almost every day from It's Lovely, I'll Take It! It's a blog that posts all the unbelievable pictures people use in an effort to sell their house on real estate websites. It makes me feel smart and classy.
Music
I've been enjoying some Neil Diamond and Peter, Paul & Mary for the last week or so. Specifically, "The Story of My Life" from Neil and "Early in the Morning" from PPM (thanks to Mad Men for that one). All very nostalgic. And I'm singing to it. Loudly. When Bridget hears "Early in the Morning" she says, "DANCE!" So we dance. Because she is in charge of me.

Haven't watched PR yet, and probably won't until Sunday or Monday, since I'm going out of town tonight.
Oh, and I will be watching the first season of The Office tonight, on the drive down. Yay me!
Thank you for reminding me about PR, I'm going to go watch last nights episode on youtube right now.
I'm so excited for you Kristina, you're gonna love it.... or not, who knows, you're a wild card.
We always sing loudly to Neil Diamond. I think I have the only 9, 7 and 3 year olds that know every word to his songs. Loudly.
I was so annoyed that Kenley was so unbelievably disrespectful to the judges and she didn't get kicked off. Probably the right choice, though, considering everyone made really crappy dresses. I think the guest judge was supremely uncomfortable.
Are you still watching Fringe? I love the banter between Joshua Jackson and the guy that plays his dad. I could do without the girl. But whatever.
I am still watching Fringe and I like Joshua Jackson & "Walter" more every week. I had just reviewed it in my sidebar and I was so blah yesterday that I didn't mention it again. Blah.
Melissa, I KNEW they were going to keep everyone. They do that every time. Why even have the episode? They're in the same place they were before it. I wanted to slap Kenley.
I think Neil Diamond was the only cassette my parents bought from 1978 to... now. Your kids will be weird like me, Andrea!
Can't wait to here if you like The Office, Kristina. :)
I have to say that I'm stunned by the Neil Diamond and Peter, Paul and Mary. Not because they're not good, but because we are not 68 years old. I think my parents had a Peter, Paul and Mary record when I was young...? I do love that "Coming to America" song from Neil - fantastic.
I, too, am hooked on the "Mad Men". So good.
Ah! I meant I can't wait to HEAR how you like The Office. I hate it when I do that.
I'm listening to the golden oldies on my computer. At least it's not country. Ha!
I have no idea how I came across that blog, but Allison and I have been dying ever since. Our recent favorite is this one:
