Sew & Tell Friday: Gearing Up

I've got two big projects ready to work on during Conference, but they are not photogenic right now.  Even though Amy's keeping it real today for Sew & Tell Friday, I'm not going to take pictures of the box of cut fabrics.  Or the mess that is on top of that box right now (it's Bridget's office chair where she keeps crayons and little papers with art on them - her ironing board is her desk).

I did finish two car seat blankets, though!  Better than nothing, as always. This first one speaks to my love of argyle in almost any form, but especially orange:

And from the far reaches of my stash closet, I finally made this one:

The fabric combo is messing with my mind a little:

I'm adding this since it's still Friday and I finished it today.  Who else loves Fancy Nancy?!  She's such a girl and she loves big words and France.  Bridget is very into the Fancy Nancy right now.  That's probably what I was thinking...
Plus, black and white is the new pink.  Right? :)

Happy Sew & Tell Friday everyone!

It took me a minute to realize those are different green prints. I think I have vertigo now.

I let someone borrow my carseat blanket since she actually has a careat carrier. Now SHE'S getting all the compliments. I'll have to give her some business cards to hand out.

That top one might be my favorite ever, but the Eiffel Tower one is a close second.
