Just before Brian leaves for work every morning he carries Bridget into our room and puts her in bed. He used to just go to work, but the garage door going up always wakes Bridget up and when she realizes that Daddy is leaving, her world falls apart. Since we don't like to start the day with so much drama and tears, Brian brings Bridget into our room. She gets to say goodbye, I get to not listen to crying.
This morning I was feeding Colin, then Emil. While one was eating, the other was being comforted by Big Sister Bridget. They all looked content for a moment, so I took a picture. Five seconds later, Bridget was making a dramatic exit because I'd asked her not to drop Colin's binky behind the bed, Emil pooped his pants and needed a bath, and Colin cried and spit up on my pillow. But I captured the moment when they were all holding hands, so that's what I'll put in the memory bank.

Priceless! Good to remember the good times.:)
Way to catch the precious moment. They come and go so fast!So cozy on your bed - I love it!
This picture is so sweet with all of them holding hands. Crying as I type! Love your kids so much!
A very sweet picture, even if the moment was fleeting.
you are really good at the glad game, pollyanna. those fleeting moments are the ones that we have to hold on to, otherwise we would all have to be checked into the loony bin. isn't it worth it, though? the little moments, i mean.
What a bed full of happiness and joy. Fleeting moments but they are the ones that make it all worthwhile. Love, Grandma K
