A Spring afternoon (probably a Sunday, based on how everyone is dressed) in 1943 with the Edward Lee family, my father's paternal grandparents. This family never had much. My great grandparents, Rhoda and Ed, passed on a legacy of hard work, taking care of what you have, acting on your creativity, and living off the land. Also, disgusting toenails. They are a handsome lot. I'm loving the
suspenders with a belt again. :)

How adorable are those twins with their matching squints? I thought the England's were the toenail carriers...
This is awesome! I don't think I've ever seen them all together in their youth. Thanks for this.
i do love this photo, but how in the world did you know who was who? i see grandpa and cleon, but the other kids could have been anyone. so sad that i know and recognize more of aron's distant relatives than my own.
Do not be impressed, Allyn. I called Dad early this morning and sent him a copy of the photo so he could identify everyone correctly for me. Because seriously - Rulon?! Who knew.
Didn't you pee on Rulon's floor? (hehehe)
Hahahaha! Was his the house with the toilet that wasn't hooked up yet? If so, yes. I was also four years old.
Oh, man! Hahahahaha!
It was Ivan's floor - he was building a house next door to great grandma and grandpa Lee. That was so funny!
This is truly a rare photo.
