I am this close on two other really cute projects, but they are so good that I need to wait until they are completely done to report on them. This table runner isn't going to look like much, but I also made half a dozen car seat covers in the last two weeks (I was absent from Sew & Tell Friday last week - only the second time this year!). I'm just sayin'...
Okay, ya'll know how much I love doing the pumpkin seed block. Here is another block I use the same interfacing shape to make (can you tell it's just cut in half?):
You're marveling that there is any French General Rural Jardin fabric left in the world, let alone my stash. I used the woven red and cream plaid for the trim and some of the 54" woven for the back. (The woven collection is the fabric I chose for my maple leaf block with the other quilting bee ladies of A Notion or Two. Weee! So excited.)
I secretly love this black eyed susan block even more than the pumpkin seed, but I hope you can tell it's more time consuming and stuff. Which is why I don't do more of them...
I debated whether to do more quilting around the flowers and now that I'm seeing it here I'm thinking it needs it. Nuts! Maybe I'm not done with this project.

As always your runners are so pretty! I think I like the black eyes susan better than the pumpkin seeds too. But both are just so cute.

I love these blocks, but I am not sure what you mean in half! Half of a pumpkin seed? Looks great!

What do you mean it needs more quilting? I think it looks stunning just as it is!!
