Family History Photo Monday: The Kids Table, Christmas 1988

I found this photo in the most random search of my night stand the other day.  We were just talking about The Kids Table!  This is at Uncle Mark and Aunt Julie's house in 1988.  The date on the left corner (December 22nd) means that Jennie and I are both 15 in this photo.  Same Age Day!  Of course everyone is laughing because we were ALWAYS laughing.  Poor, poor Bryan.  The hair, the sweater, having to sit with all the cackling girls.  And this must be the year that Allyn was on tour with Bon Jovi.  Oh, man.  This makes me miss all of you big time!

I should clarify - there are about 20 more children at this party.  They always put the teenagers in the kitchen and the little kids had a table next to the adults.  I'm betting it's because we were so so loud.

I can't decide what about this photo is most amazing, so I'll just say all of it. Love it!

I was always jealous that I didn't fit at the super cool teenager table. Now I see it was a blessing in disguise. How nice to have one more thing to be grateful for this holiday season!

We would have eaten you alive, Melissa! Poor silent child. I look like I'm enjoying my meal. Like a cave man. I remember laughing about absolutely nothing. (Bon Jovi- hahahaha)

Aunt Julie probably thought the little guys needed more supervision, but from the looks of things in this picture maybe she was wrong! So fun to see you all! (Apparently Allyn didn't get the sweater memo) :)

I think I took that sweater of Nicole's with me to college. My hair in this picture looks like "cartoon hair", like it's a solid block. I know there's probably a whole can of hairspray on it because my hair never fit in the barrette like it was supposed to.
